The DDA Conference and Best Practice Show organisers have published details of how Covid-19 risk will be managed to conform with the latest government guidelines.

Everyone entering the event will be required to demonstrate Covid-19 status. This can be by:

  • proof of completion of a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival;
  • proof of a negative lateral flow test (LFT) result, taken within 48 hours of arrival; or
  • proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for Covid-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

Attendees should bring with them (either on their phone or as a printed copy) a copy of their NHS COVID Pass valid for each day of attending the event. Coloured wristbands will be supplied to enter once approved.

The event will also implement a ‘mask-friendly’ policy, and hand sanitisers will be distributed throughout the venue.

The DDA Conference will run alongside the Best Practice Show taking place at Birmingham NEC from October 13-14. Admission is free and online registration is available.
