DDA advisor Baroness McIntosh of Pickering has challenged the Government over its use of dispensing GP practices during COVID-19.

As well as a direct question asking Government how it plans to work with dispensing doctors for the administration of COVID-19 vaccines to patients in rural areas, the backbench peer has asked what steps are being taken to ensure patients in rural areas receive the COVID-19 vaccination in a timely manner.

Government has also been asked to consider whether any such steps take into account the isolation of such patients, and the distances such patients have to travel to medical facilities.

Government will respond by Thursday 21 January.
