NHS England has advised that the Dispensary Services Quality Scheme (DSQS) – suspended as a result of COVID-19 – will restart from Saturday 1 August.

Other ‘new normal’ arrangements for England are detailed in a letter. This includes information on the following:

• Expansion of the workforce
• Reduction in bureaucracy
• Refocusing QOF
• Funding.

Further information on the DSQS will follow. Practices intending to participate in the scheme should provide a written undertaking to their commissioner in line with Section 24.4 of the Statement of Financial Entitlements.
