Lincolnshire Refugee Doctors Project is seeking volunteers to support asylum-seeking doctors.

The project aims to support refugee doctors back into medical practice in the UK through living accommodation, training and requalification, and into employment.

Currently, there are vacancies for clinical mentors to help with group discussions, befriending, exam and interview preparation, including CV writing.

Further funding has recently been also been secured to support doctors with English language skills.

The project aims to support refugee doctors back into medical practice in the UK through living accommodation, training and requalification, and into employment. Around 23 refugee doctors are now on the scheme, nine of whom have recently been able to support local hospitals in medical support worker roles during COVID-19.
