Tier 2 medicine supply notifications have been issued for:

  • Lipitor (atorvastatin) 20mg chewable tablets
  • Intal (sodium cromoglicate) CFC-free 5mg inhaler.

Lipitor (atorvastatin) 20mg chewable tablets

 Until late December 2021.

  • Atorvastatin 20mg film-coated tablets;
  • If the above option is not deemed appropriate, consider other alternatives – see MSN for further details.

Intal (sodium cromoglicate) CFC-free 5mg inhaler

Discontinuation – stock expected to be exhausted by end of January 2022.

  • Please refer to BTS guidelines and be aware that inhaled corticosteroids are the first-choice preventer drug.
