More questions about the deployment of the COVID vaccine in rural areas have been asked in Parliament.

Former health minister and Suffolk MP Dr Dan Poulter has asked about how rural parts of Suffolk will receive adequate supplies of the covid-19 vaccination, and how supplies can be effectively stored and distributed in rural areas.

Scott Mann MP (Conservative, North Cornwall) has asked whether the Department of Health and Social Care was aware of issues with covid-19 vaccine supply in rural areas.

Previously, DDA adviser Baroness McIntosh of Pickering asked the DHSC about the role of dispensing GPs in the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out.

Labour’s Shadow health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth has also called for an equal access plan to COVID-19 vaccination, particularly targeting rural communities, among others.
