Scottish GPs can contribute to two consultations designed to support the post-COVID recovery in rural areas.
The Scottish Government’s Advisory Group on Economic Recovery, has launched an Open Call for Views. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 31 May.
With the same aim, Scottish Rural Action is also polling rural views in a survey.
This asks questions about the health and wellbeing of vulnerable and shielding members of individual communities, the potential for better funding and guidance to have strengthened a community’s response to Covid-19 at an earlier stage.
This survey will be repeated every four weeks with adapted questions to monitor how things may be changing as Scotland slowly emerges from lockdown. The findings will be shared with the COVID-19 Rural Economy and Communities Stakeholder Group, a group which helps shape the Scottish Government’s response to emerging priorities for rural communities.
