Public Health England has updated guidance on PPE.

There is advice for the recommended PPE for primary care, including for staff working in reception/communal area with possible or confirmed case(s) and unable to maintain two metres social distance, and for pharmacists. This recommends use of a fluid-resistant (Type IIR) surgical mask.

For providers of direct patient care (within two metres), workers should wear the above mask, plus gloves, apron and eye/face protection.
